Welcome to the second entry in my blog! What follows are my thoughts on the YouTube videos and TV episodes that I enjoyed the most this week. I highly recommend everything on the list.

• Fascinating and a little terrifying, like a scientific horror movie.
• Kurzgesagt is a must-watch channel in my opinion.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier — S01E02 — The Star-Spangled Man

• SPOLIERS AHEAD
• Wyatt Russell is doing an excellent job portraying John Walker, in that I kind of hate the character but also understand why people in-universe would like him, and I think that’s exactly how we’re meant to feel.
• RIP Redwing! 😢
• A lot happened in this episode, but it flew by. I can’t wait to see what happens next week, and I hope we learn more about Isaiah soon.

RuPaul’s Drag Race — S13E12 — The Congeniality Roast

• SPOLIERS AHEAD
• A maxi-challenge with some very high highs and some very low lows.
• I think I would have personally given the win to Gottmik, but Kandy definitely did a great job too.
• I am quite sad to see Utica go as she has been a highlight of the season for me, but it’s hard to argue with the judging this week.

• If you can’t view the above video and can’t get around the geo-restriction, it came from the 5th episode of the 8th season of Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, which is available to Canadians on Crave.
• Tucker Carlson is a terrible person, and this video is a great summary if you’re not sure why.

• An excellent video essay about an amazing movie.
• Please don’t watch it until you’ve watched Howl’s Moving Castle. If you haven’t done so yet, I can’t recommend it enough.
